Appointed Committees

The following committees, whose members are appointed by the Board of Trustees, play a crucial role in shaping our village’s future. These positions are a great way to actively contribute to local governance:

  • Tree Committee (focused on planting street trees)

You are invited to submit a letter of interest to the Village Administrator at administrator@nyack.gov. Whether you’re eager to serve on a committee or simply wish to discuss opportunities, we welcome your input! Vacancies may arise throughout the year, and all appointments are subject to Board of Trustees approval.

Note: All meetings of appointed committees are open to the public.
