Biodegradable Brush Bag Collection

Biodegradable brush bags will be collected on a weekly basis by the Department of Public Works (DPW). Pickup days may vary between Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday, depending on staff availability and ongoing projects. Our goal is to provide weekly service to every household.

Important Guidelines:

• Collection of Yard Waste: The DPW will only collect biodegradable brush bags. Please do not place yard waste in plastic bags, as they will not be accepted.
• Branches and Yard Waste: For branches and yard waste that cannot be placed in bags, please create manageable bundles no longer than 4 feet in length. No ties are necessary; simply stack them neatly.

Village Hall: 9 N. Broadway, Nyack, NY
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
