BRUSH BAGS & YARD WASTE

• Biodegradable brush bags will be picked up on a weekly basis. 
• The DPW will be picking up during the week - possibly Tuesday, Wednesday or Fridays - depending on staff availability and projects. 
• Our goal is to pick up at each home once a week. 
• No yard waste in plastic bags will be picked up by the DPW - only biodegradable brush bags will be collected. 
• Branches and yard waste that cannot be put in bags must be in manageable bundles - no more than 4 foot length. No ties necessary - please stack neatly. 
• Brush bags are available at the DPW, 63 Catherine Street, Nyack, NY. Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. 
• Additionally, brush bags are available at Village Hall, 9 N. Broadway, Nyack, NY Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. 
• Any issues with brush bags or yard waste - please contact the DPW at 845-358-3552 and be sure to leave your address.
