NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Village Board of Trustees (“Village Board”) of the Village of Nyack (“Village”), at a meeting to be held at Village Hall, 9 North Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960, on November 14, 2024, at 8:10 PM, concerning a proposed Local Law, which, if adopted by the Village Board, will amend Article III (Parks and Recreation Areas), of Chapter 250 (Parks and Recreation), of the Village Code, so as to add quality of life proscriptions, including (i) adding definitions of, and regulations related to, “Sound Reproduction Device” and “Protracted Lounging,” (ii) shortening the hours of operation, and (iii) adding provisions regulating noise, littering, human defecation and urination, and dogs.

      At such time and place, all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning same.

      The full text of the proposed Local Law is on file in the Village Clerk’s Office, and may be reviewed by interested persons during regular business hours.
