Important Notice: Lead Service Line Inspection

-- The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) require the Village of Nyack to identify any lead service lines and develop a plan for their replacement.

To comply with these regulations, the Village Water Department needs to conduct a visual inspection of the water line entering your home or business. This inspection is essential and must be completed before October 16, 2024. It will take approximately 10 minutes.

Water Department staff will be visiting each property between 7 AM and 7 PM to carry out these inspections. If you require special arrangements to provide access, please contact the Water Department Office at Village Hall at 845-358-0641.
