Nyack Seeks Public Safety Patrol

This is a part-time, unarmed, position patrolling the business district and parks on foot to promote public safety, provide information to visitors and local businesses, and deter disorderly behavior. Hours are flexible, including evenings and weekends. Duties include code enforcement for noise and trash. The County Civil Service title Code Enforcement Officer I requires one year of paid work in construction trade or one year paid work in field inspections or investigations. In addition, the Village is seeking applicants with law enforcement and/or security experience.
