Water Main Hydrant Flushing Advisory – April & May 2025

The Nyack Water Department will be performing routine water main hydrant flushing in the following areas:

West Nyack and Central Nyack
Monday, April 28 – Thursday, May 1, 2025

Nyack and South Nyack
Monday, May 5 – Thursday, May 8, 2025

Flushing hours for all areas will be between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Please be advised:

Residents using booster pumps should turn them off during flushing hours.

You may experience temporary water discoloration and reduced water pressure during this period.

If your water appears discolored, run your cold water until it runs clear.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we carry out this important maintenance work to ensure a safe and reliable water supply.
