Community Meeting on Public Safety and Security in Downtown Nyack

The Village of Nyack is hosting a community meeting on Monday, January 13th at 7:30 PM at Village Hall to provide residents with an update on efforts to enhance public safety and security in the downtown area.

The meeting will feature a presentation by Mayor Joe Rand and Village Administrator Andy Stewart, outlining the Village’s ongoing initiatives to address street life concerns. Additionally, representatives from the Orangetown Police Department, social service agencies, and local nonprofits will discuss their strategies and collaborative efforts to address these issues.

A portion of the meeting will be dedicated to public questions and comments, allowing residents to voice their thoughts and concerns.

For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will be simulcast on the Village of Nyack YouTube channel.

We encourage all residents to participate in this important conversation about the future of our community's safety and well-being.
