Proper Disposal of Gloves & Masks
during the Coronavirus Pandemic

With the extensive use of disposable gloves and masks, we are noticing an abundance of gloves being disposed of on the ground in our parking lots and streets. Contaminated gloves and masks are a health hazard. Please have the respect for your neighbors, residents and visitors and dispose of your equipment in trash cans. If a trash can is not immediately available to you, take your gloves with you and dispose at home. Everything that ends up in the roadway finds its way into a storm drain - and eventually into the Hudson River. Please dispose of your personal protective equipment in a way that is responsible, helps to protect the environment and keeps our community safe.

Please do your part and help keep Nyack SAFE and Beautiful heart It's our Gem on the Hudson smiley
