Parking Enforcement
Policy Changes effective May 6, 2020 The Village of Nyack has been observing the Governor's "New York on Pause" plan during the COVID-19 pandemic, and during this time we have taken the opportunity to review our parking regulations. In the interest of public safety and insuring our streets are cleaned, we are implementing the following changes: The Village of Nyack Parking Authority will begin enforcement of "No Parking on Village Streets" from 3:00am to 6:00am in the downtown area. The Parking Authority will also enforce safety violations, to include: blocking of fire hydrants, parking too close to corners, blocking of crosswalks, vehicle inspections and other parking infractions. The Village Board of Trustees has lifted the 11:00pm to 6:00am parking availability in the downtown area on-street only (see map) beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Please note that there will be no parking on-street (see map) allowed from 3:00am to 6:00am on the following streets: Main Street from Midland Ave to Broadway Broadway from Cedar Hill Ave to First Ave Franklin Street from High Ave to Depew Ave Highlighted Streets - no parking 3am - 6am effective May 6, 2020 Parking remains free in the Artopee Way & Riverspace Municipal parking lots for overnight parking. Catherine Street and Spear Street lots are paid permit parking only. Paid permits must be current starting Friday, May 15, 2020.
