This Independence Day is an unprecedented one. Amidst this resurging pandemic, I would like to remind you all of the power of our collective spirit. A measure as simple as a face mask can make a significant impact in our community, quite literally saving the lives of others. While I'm sure many of you may feel the fatigue of this virus, our resilience is so important; and it's the same resilience that led to the independence of our country 244 years ago and continues to pursue a fight for greater equality. That being said, I hope all the residents of our Village can spend this weekend with family and loved ones. This 4th of July is not only a celebration of our continued history; but the possibility of recovery, growth, and change on the horizon. - Mayor Don Hammond Village News Updates Fireworks: Rescheduled for July 4, 2021.
