Leaf Collection
Wednesday, December 10, 2021 will be the last day for our Public Works to collect loose leaf piles. All leaves should be on the homeowners property and not on the roadway or sidewalks!

LED Street Light Conversion

Crews from All Bright Electric are finishing up the LED street light conversion project for the Village, just in time for the holidays!

The Village will look a little brighter with 489 clean LED lights. The Village now owns all the street lights and outages should be reported directly to our DPW, not Orange & Rockland Utilities. Should you notice an outage please contact our DPW at 845-358-3552 or an email with the location and details is preferred: dpw@nyack-ny.gov

Time to Plan for Snow Emergencies!

During a declared Snow Emergency in the Village, no cars are allowed in the "red zone" on map. We know this creates a hardship for people who depend on street parking. During snow emergencies, the Village makes available the lots on Main Street at no charge for the duration of the snow emergency. However, you may have a neighbor who is willing to provide a parking space and now's a good time to plan.
