Construction staging will begin on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the corner of Depew Ave and S. Broadway on the east side of the road. Demolition (weather permitting) will begin on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. The contractor will work from Depew Ave to Hudson Ave for approximately the next two weeks. Any parking restrictions will be posted in advance. Access to all business and residences will be maintained throughout the project.
The design engineers from Greenman Pedersen, Inc. will be giving a presentation on the sidewalk project and its impact to the Depew Ave neighborhood. If you own property adjacent to the sidewalk project, this is an important meeting for you to attend if possible. Village Board of Trustees Meeting Change
The second meeting of April 2022 will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. The Village Board will be attending the NAACP Annual "Freedom Dinner" on Thursday, April 28, 2022, which conflicted with the second meeting of the month, usually held on the fourth Thursday. The Village of Nyack Water Department will flush water mains throughout the entire water distribution system, beginning at 9:00 PM as follows:
Flushing will take place between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM. As a result of the flushing, your water may be temporarily discolored and you may experience a temporary reduction in water pressure.
