Leaf Season 2022

DPW will be collecting leaves starting in October until the first snowfall of season. A few simple rules to follow:
- Do not put loose leaf piles in the roadway, the leaves must be on the homeowners property.
- Please do not block sidewalks or fire hydrants - Code Enforcers will be issuing violations!
- Biodegradable bags are available at Village Hall & the DPW during working hours.

Consider Mulching & leaving the leaves! More information here.

Hello Nyack Pollinator Pathway Supporters
!

Great news, our pollinator gardens in Nyack have been so successful that we will be planting eight garden beds along Main Street!
We need your help to turn these underutilized spaces into thriving pollinator habitats! Please come to our Volunteer Planting Day on Saturday, October 1st from 10am to 1pm.

We'll be planting eight garden beds along Main Street in Nyack with beautiful native perennial plants. Mark your calendars, grab your shovels and trowels, and join us!

Can't make it to the Planting Day but you'd still like to show your support? Visit the website at: www.nyackpollinatorpathway.org

Paving & Projects Update

Tilcon will be back in the Village next month to repave Hudson Ave, Prospect St, and South Mill Street. Paving is tentatively scheduled for High Ave and Main Street, if infrastructure work is completed on time.

On Main Street, upgrades to the drainage system are planned from Midland Ave to Catherine Street, in addition to a new crosswalk and 4 ADA corners. Work begins next week on Main Street.

On High Ave, curb repairs and ADA corners must be completed before paving, so contractors will be working in this area too. We are very hopeful that the contractors will be able to finish their work in time for fall paving.
