NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

               NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Village Board of Trustees (“Village Board”) of the Village of Nyack (“Village”), at a meeting to be held at Village Hall, 9 North Broadway, Nyack, NY 10960, on October 24, 2024, at 8:00 PM, concerning a proposed Local Law, which, if adopted by the Village Board, will (as briefly summarized) amend Chapter 120 (affordable housing) of the Code of the Village of Nyack, so as to clarify that (1) more than a 10% set-aside, of affordable or workforce housing units, is required to enjoy development waivers and benefits, and (2) both the DMU-1 and DMU-2 zoning districts are included in the applicable zoning districts.

 At such time and place, all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning same.
The full text of the proposed Local Law is on file in the Village Clerk’s Office, and may be reviewed by interested persons during regular business hours.
