• Sundays: Parking is Free on Sundays and legal holidays.

Municipal Parking Lots:

• Locations: Village Lot, Riverspace Lot, Veterans Lot (on Artopee Way), and metered side streets
• Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM
• Overnight Parking: No parking allowed in any municipal lots from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, except for vehicles with a Village of Nyack-issued permit. To purchase a permit, please refer to the "Parking Permits" section below.

River Space Parking Lot:

• One Hour Free Parking: 15 spaces available, including one handicap space, located on the east side of the lot.
• Payment Required: For all other spaces in the River Space Lot, from 10 AM - 7 PM, Monday - Saturday.

Parking Permits

Important: All parking lot permits require a new application and a copy of the vehicle registration. Existing permit holders must update their application each year.

Parking Ticket Information

Fine Structure:

• Basic Meter Violation: $25
• Late Payments: Increased fines for all violations to encourage timely payments. Late payments may incur penalties, and if the ticket remains unpaid, a penalty will be added 14 days after issuance, followed by an additional penalty 14 days later. Tickets not settled within 4 months will be sent to collections.
